Sanoma is radically changing its IT estate in an ambitious company-wide program in 2018-2019. This program aims to move Sanomas’ IT to a futureproof cloud environment and enable its employees to leverage modern information technology. The end objective is to reinforce Sanomas’ business to cope with fast changing markets, new business models and client demands.

Sanoma Technology/ Sanoma Group Communications is looking for a medior/ senior Communications Consultant (Hoofddorp/ Helsinki)

Together with the change enablement lead/ CCO you are responsible for carrying out communications towards our stakeholder groups. The most important group being the end-user community of Sanoma, consisting of more than 4.000 employees in all kinds of media domains. To make this program a success, everything humanly possible needs to be done to inform and educate to allow this group to maximize the benefits of using new information technology. Preparing training material based on inputs of the technical teams is an import part of the work.

Main tasks:

• Plan and execute communications activities together with the team;
• Update and localize communications material;
• Utilize different Sanoma communications channels;
• Plan competence development activities;
• Delivers training and other competence development materials;
• Prepare training material based on input of technical teams like:
• Videos;
• FAQs;
• Wiki;
• E-learnings;
• Provide access to relevant Sanoma online/virtual tools;
• Members of the Change Nnetwork drive change and build commitment on a local level;
• Share knowledge, participate meetings and trainings, promote and share information, collect feedback;
• Keep local communication teams in the loop and updated.

• You can operate on all levels of our organisation, both tactical and operational;

• You are well equipped to transfer knowledge and experience to the team;
• You are result driven: project dead-lines are to be met not exceeded;
• You are interested in information technology from a users’ perspective;
• Your communications are crisp and clear: you speak and write a language everybody understands;
• You are fluent in speech and writing in English and either Dutch or Finnish;
• You are experienced in using Sharepoint and video editing software;
• You have experience with working with teams in other countries (working at distance);
• You have experience in similar projects.
