The department IT Infrastructure Solutions is providing IT infrastructure Services and develops new advanced infrastructure services for NXP. Services include Datacenter services, IAAS, Cloud, Connectivity, Telecom, Workplace, Collaboration and Identity & Access management. The operational services are provided by global external partners.

R&D IT

NXP-IT function, reporting in Technology & Operations organization, is responsible for all IT systems and infrastructure in NXP including R&D and Manufacturing.  With NXP-IT we distinguish 4 domains being Enterprise Application, Manufacturing IT, R&D IT Solutions and Infrastructure solutions. 

The department R&D IT Solutions is End-to-End responsible for all Applications, Infrastructure, Services and Innovation needed for the R&D design process (hardware and software design) and the product creation process.

Scope of work

The first period you will be preparing the roll out of the solutions from the NXP headquarter in Eindhoven.

After this preparation phase, you will travel to different NXP sites for the actual roll-out. Sites in scope are; Hamburg, Gratkorn, Glasgow, Munchen, Mougins, Bangalore, San Jose, Shanghai, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Caen, Nijmegen, Leuven, Kaohsiung and Bangkok. You will manage the project on site so good stakeholder management is key in this assignment

You are the responsible person for the team on site and your team will consist of minimal 2 people.  The total project team exists out 6 members. Direct reporting to the Project Manager.

Primary focus is on implementing the new standard building blocks for the office environment or implementation the standard building block in a new secure zone.

NXP is looking for an analytical generalist that has in depth knowledge in IT; Windows 7 & 10, Citrix, Storage, Network, Linux, Active Directory.

• At least Bachelor/ Master level degree in IT.
• Strong Analytical background experience:> 5 years
• Experience with roll out of client’s experience:> 5 years
• Windows 7 &10, Storage, Citrix, Network, Linux, Active Directory experience:> 5 years
• Experience with working in an international, multi-cultural environment.

Additional

We need someone that is willing to travel and can be flexible in working hours. Occasional weekend stay on distant NXP locations may be required. Willingness to travel and ability to stay on a certain site for 2-3 weeks is crucial for this assignment.

We are looking for a strong personality and communicator because of the discussions that will take place with the onsite teams. Getting things done mentality is needed to be successful in this position.
