Infrastructure design, maintenance and reliability

Introduce and integrate new infrastructures technologies into existing designs and ensure expected reliability and availability. 

Automation

Develop the conceptual design to reduce manual labor in the processes to prevent human error and increase speed and traceability. Strong focus on implementation of Continuous Delivery and Configuration Management for Infrastructure inside own and other teams.

Installation  and configuration hardware and software (IAAS / PAAS/ SAAS)

Install and configure Hardware and Software in a multi- context environment..

Middleware configuration

Provide expertise, give advice and analytical support in order to ensure that databases, messaging and file transfer can be used by the applications/operations engineer. 

Integration, security testing and access

Build  routine automation security policies, monitor, tests and analyze systems and the logs in a complex infrastructure to identify and solve complex problems.

Life Cycle Management

Plan, test and implement complex life cycle management activities for all infrastructure components, understand the market and is responsible for complex problem solving.

Security

Know how to solve security challenges that are not covered by the existing security framework by adopting tactics used by others.

General Banking & Specific domain knowledge applied to real customer value     

Be able  to fully understand the bank’s business process in the various domains and  to design features across domains. Be able to actively detect flaws/suggests optimizations. Be a sparring partner to PO and stakeholders. Be able  to define features and suggest fitting IT solutions to overarching business challenges (e.g .migration strategy, booking model changes, …)

IT  Architecture & Design

Be ready to practice independently as an Architect in your overall domain.  Guide the design activities of more junior team members, be actively approached to pitch in your ideas. Understand client needs, business/functional architecture (including business process), gather requirements and translate these requirements into Solution or Reference Architectures, Targets and Roadmaps, to support business strategy. Be able to shape a medium scope solution (business & IT) by yourself. Be  able to negotiate and form partnerships with various parties to reach agreement regarding goals and approaches. Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and try to steer the strategic developments at the supplier.

• Education: Technical University/ University degree in Information Technology
• Experience: more than 6 years of progressing experience in a similar position in Infrastructure (Bank, TelCom)
• Professional qualifications:  specific advandced qualificaitons such as CCNP for example
• PC utilization: Edvanced level of MS office, networking, database
• Foreign language requirements: English fluent
• Professional knowledge: Advanced professional knowledge of one of the number of the following fields: Infrastructure concept,  System administration, Networking, Database, Storage networks. Familiar with agile way of working.
